Super Tiebreak

A tiebreak played to 10 points (with a two-point lead required) instead of the standard 7. Used as the deciding set at all four Grand Slams (replacing the final set tiebreak at 6-6) and as the third set replacement in most doubles matches. Introduced to prevent endless final sets. The 2019 Wimbledon final went to 12-12 before a fifth-set tiebreak was introduced. That match is the reason the super tiebreak exists at Slams now.

"Final set super tiebreak. First to 10. She's up 8-6. Two points from the match."
