A 30-person over-the-top-rope elimination match. Two wrestlers start, a new one enters every 90 seconds. You're eliminated when you go over the top rope and both feet touch the floor. The winner gets a world title match at WrestleMania. The Rumble is the most perfectly designed match type in wrestling: it has built-in drama, surprise entrants, callback spots, and an iron-man narrative for whoever lasts the longest. The January PLE featuring this match has been running since 1988.
